The Global Matchmaking Platform is funded by the German International Climate Initiative (IKI). Any person who believes they may be harmed by this IKI project or who wish to report corruption or the misuse of funds, can lodge a complaint to the IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism or UNIDO Grievance Mechanism.

IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism

The mechanism is intended to enable people who suffer (potential) negative social and/or environmental consequences from IKI projects, or who wish to report the improper use of funds, to voice their complaints and seek redress. Any person who believes they may be harmed by an IKI project or who wish to report corruption or the misuse of funds, can file a complaint to the IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism by filling in the Complaint Form or sending a message to IKI-complaints(at)z-u-g.org.

The IKI complaint mechanism has a panel of independent experts who will investigate the complaint. In the course of investigation, IKI will consult with the complainant so as to avoid unnecessary risks for the complainant. If the UNIDO grievance redress mechanism receives a complaint regarding an IKI project, UNIDO will inform IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism of credible complaints within 72 hours from the moment at which the credibility of the complaint has been ascertained and subject to UNIDO’s regulations rules and administrative instructions.
